Testing

When applied to a new shingled roof, WIMAR™ withstood over 230 MPH of wind resistance without failure, earning a Wind Resistant - Class-5 Hurricane Certification. The same roof also achieved a Class-4 Hail Resistance Certification (testing was completed by Intertek - reports are available upon request). The WIMAR™ coating itself also provides flame resistance over an uncoated roof due to the silicone chemistry.

Patent Pending - Roof Coating Product Description

The WIMAR Roof Coating is a VOC Free water-based emulsion of a functional elastomeric silicone rubber for use over asphalt roofing shingles, Terracotta ceramic roofing tiles, and painted steel roofing surfaces. WIMAR Roof Coating will encapsulate the existing roofing surfaces with technology that will extend and preserve the roofing surface for decades. This is not a quick fix material to try to extend of soften a roofing surface through re-oiling, but rather a material that encapsulates the roofing surface within a coating for forever durability and performance.*

The WIMAR Roof Coating water-based formulation will cure ambiently to form a mono-elastomeric film which will adhere aggressively to the applied surface which will allow it to flex and maintain it’s as applied strength through extreme heat and freeze cycles and while not being degraded by UV light which enables the underlying roofing to maintain it’s as new performance and properties.

The WIMAR Roof Coating finish gives exceptional water and soil repellency to the coated surface.

The WIMAR Roof Coating is impervious to water penetration from driving wind forced rains and from standing water which allows the aggregate of the roofing substrate to stay dry and not wash away from weathering and water cycles. Due to the extreme water resistance the WIMAR Roof Coating will reduce or eliminate discoloration from mold and moss growth enabling a roof that will maintain its beauty.

The durability and mono-elastomeric film of the WIMAR Roof Coating will allow wind resistance to a properly applied new shingled roof of over 230 MPH CLASS 5 Hurricane and is certified to resist hail damage of CLASS 4 2-inch diameter at 110 MPH due to the extremely durable flexible finish.

WIMAR Roof Coating has an ignition point of 450 Deg. C / 842 Deg. F, and a flash point of 750 Deg. C / 1382 Deg F. On coated surfaces the WIMAR Roof Coating will offer flame resistance when uniformly applied as compared to a standard uncoated surface.

WIMAR Roof Coating may be tinted to enable the change of the existing roof color to black, tan, brown, charcoal gray, white, plus the ability to custom color upon request.

The WIMAR Roof Coating, WIMAR Wash, WIMAR Penetration Sealer, WIMAR Exterior Finish, and the WIMAR Chimney Sealer Family of products are environmentally Green chemistries that have no VOC hazards.

They do not contain any REACH listed materials and are SVHC compliant: (EC) No 1907/2006 Concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Confirms that none of its REGULATION products or packaging contain any of the 191 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern for Authorization in a concentration above the 0.1% by weight allowable limit, and also does not contain any materials listed in the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List version 2.0 (Published in accordance with Article 59(10) of the REACH Regulation).
